Let’s Meat Steak House in River Vale Announces Opening Date

Let’s Meat Steakhouse, the Italian restaurant and steakhouse moving to River Vale, has announced a proposed opening date.

Previously located in Harrington Park, they’ve been serving up their steakhouse menu (View Menu) and Italian specialties (including pizza) since the summer of 2018.

They are replacing Italian restaurant Zozo’s, adding their liquor license with a 60 seat bar. The kitchen will be overseen by Executive Chef Flavia Amaral, who’s worked at various restaurants in NYC including time as executive chef at The Wayfarer.

The bar is being run Pete Duca, an expert mixologist who’s accolades include 1st Runner-Up of the Glenfiddich’s Kindred Spirit Contest Tasting Panel Magazine, 1st Runner-Up Best Bartender in Bergen County (201) magazine, and a two-time Bartender of the Month for Metropolis Nights Magazine.

There were also plans for a VIP sushi lounge, VIP 12 seat chef’s table, outdoor cigar lounge, and wine locker memberships — no word yet on the status of those plans from the ongoing coronavirus pandemic — though sushi chef Pai is on the team, with 15 years experience in the NYC/NJ area.

As stated recently on their social media, they are expected to open on July 20th.
