Cork & Keg (Website), the liquor store in Emerson at 188 Kinderkamack Road, is expanding up the street. They will be taking over the previous home of Marra’s Market at 89 Kinderkamack Road.

The current location has been Cork & Keg for 60 years with wood paneling on the walls, giant wagon wheels on the ceiling – they want to keep the homey feel of their old location, while making updates to improve customer experience.

There will be a 15 door beer refrigerator including a beer cave. There will be plenty of space for the big brand names everyone knows, while carrying as many craft brands as they can. Unlike now, customers will be able to see every option of beer available and will be able to enter the cooler and serve themselves. Plus they are known for their keg selection in stock, the new store allows them to keep as many kegs in stock at any given moment.

Also planned is more shelf space for wine and liquor for the brand customers ask for. They also plan on keeping up with the ever growing bourbon and whiskey market.

Working with out distributors and brand ambassadors, they will be able to host tastings – once they can have customers inside again.

The last day of business at 188 Kinderkamack is May 31st. They will be offering curbside pickup at the new location starting June 1st.
