There have been a number of restaurants and food businesses that have opened in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic or a few weeks before. In lieu of proper “opening alerts”, Boozy Burbs will share many details about these new businesses as possible in a post — though things may change fairly quickly as they maneuver through the public health crisis.

Hot Kebabs City is a new halal restaurant from owner and chef Irfan Avci. He has opened other area eateries like Doner Kebab House, Kebab Istanbul, Hudson Kebab House, The Kebabci and The Kebabci West.

The menu (see below) is Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine with items like soups, hot and cold appetizers, salads, kebabs (with and without yogurt), seafood, and more.

When allowed to open the dining room, there is seating for 60 with plans for live music too. In the meantime, they offer take-out and delivery for lunch and dinner 7 says a week from 11:00AM till 10:00PM on Sunday thru Thursday and 11:00AM till midnight on Friday and Saturday.
