A number of local restaurants have joined forces to serve meals for healthcare and emergency worked during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic here in Bergen County ― the program is called Feed the Frontlines NJ (Visit Website).

Inspired by the Feed the Frontlines campaign in NYC (Visit NYC Website), that has raised close to $800k (and going) for the same cause in across the Hudson, the owners at Sofia restaurant in Englewood thought it was a great idea to do the same for Englewood Health, Holy Name Medical Center, and Hackensack University Medical Center.

Along with Sofia, they’ve enlisted Axia Taverna, Giovanni’s Bicycle Club, Bennie’s and more to create opportunities for their employees to prepare and distribute free meals for hospital workers in the area.
