Vish, the chain of hummus restaurants, has expanded to Tenafly according to signage up on Washington Street.

Started over a decade ago in Israel, they’ve expanded all over including NYC (Grub Street Review) with a number locations — two in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn — this is their first Jersey outlet.

The specialty of the house is hummus made-to-order (View Menu) — served warm with fresh Yemen pita bread and in an open kitchen — and available in a number of signature styles (topped with items like peppers, mushrooms, fava beans, tahini, etc). There are a few salads too and the restaurant is Kosher and vegetarian.
