Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is undergoing a major overhaul, a $2.7 billion renovation that is expected to open in late 2021 and late 2022 according to New Jersey Monthly (Read Full Article).

Overseen by the Port Authority, Terminal One will replace Terminal A in a brand new 1-million sq ft building — it will be located just south of it’s predecessor.

Naturally, this renovation includes an upgrade in food choices. Specifically, it calls for “new and better dining options” than Terminal A, which is planned to “include dining options with a Garden State twist” — though none have been announced.

This follows a $120 million upgrade of Terminal C, which has seen many NYC chefs and eateries take residence in the airport (Read Eater Roundup).
