Tick Tock Diner in Clifton Closing for Renovations

Clifton’s Tick Tock Diner is about to undergo a complete renovation of the interior along with some exterior work starting Monday, September 16th.

The changes are extensive and the entire restaurant will be closed for about 4-6 weeks. This will be the first renovation for Tick Tock Diner in 25 years.

The interior will feature a brand new design, with new furniture, upgraded kitchen, new bar and more. For those concerned, their signature Tick Tock neon sign is being preserved.

Tick Tock has been operating on Route 3 since 1948. Current owners bought it in 1986 and expanded the building to its present size 25 years ago. It’s also had it’s share of accolades, it was named one of America’s 10 Best 24-Hour Diners by The Daily Meal in 2017 (Read Article).

Based on the revealed timeline, the reopening is tentatively scheduled for mid to late October.
