Smokey Joe’s BBQ, the Kosher BBQ restaurant that closed a few years back in Teaneck – they’ve been mostly catering ever since – is making a return with a new spot in The Bronx. They have announced a new home for their business in Riverdale, NY – it’s called Ember by Smoke Joe.

Ember by Smokey Joe is their “new approach to quality dining and service”. It will be a “steakhouse and more”, where they will update the menu regularly to feature the “freshest produce” (or grow on their rooftop garden) and “highest quality meat”. They didn’t forget the smoker, so expect many of the Smoke Joe classics in heavy rotation. And of course it will be Kashrut assured by the Kof-K and the Riverdale Va’ad.

The new space will have party rooms for groups from 50 to 150 people. Catering will be fully integrated with the restaurant, as will on-site event planning, takeout with delivery options, home replacement meals and holiday menus – plus on-site parking.
