Now its the readers’ turn with the results of the 36th Annual Jersey Choice awards from the current issue dated August 2019 (Read Full List). Each category has one winner for North, Central and South Jersey and a minimum of one critic’s pick.

Area wins included Tick Tock Diner (Clifton; Website) for Diner, Rutt’s Hut (Clifton; Website) for Hot Dog, Raymond’s (Montclair, Ridgewood; Website) for Lunch, Roots Steakhouse (Morristown, Ridgewood, Summit; Website) for Steak, Veggie Heaven (Teaneck; Website) for Vegetarian, and Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas (Clifton; Website) for Wine List.

Local critic’s picks included Balthazar (Englewood; Website) for Bakery, Fink’s BBQ (Dumont; Website) for BBQ,  Cowan’s Public House (Nutley; Website) for Beer Selection, and Piccolo’s Gastronomia (Ridgefield; Website) for Italian Deli, among others.
