According to recent town details, Blimpie appears to be returning to Teaneck. This would add to their existing spots in Dumont, Elmwood Park, Hackensack, Paramus, and River Edge — the chain began 55 years ago in Hoboken.

For those unfamiliar, “America’s Sub Shop” sells a menu (View Menu) of subs, wraps, salads, and more. Available are rotating limited time flavors — like the current Great American Sub Tour — the popular $6 combo special (sub with soda and choice of chips or cookie), and online ordering.

There is no word yet on an opening date.
