TJ’s Southern Gourmet, a comfort food restaurant, has opened in Englewood.

Theresa Jackson “TJ” , who left the world of banking to follow her passion to cook, spent time in Atlanta after her stint cooking in NYC and began building a catering business. Now her daughter Tia is expanding, with the opening of the restaurant, though TJ is still working and along for the ride.

The comfort food menu includes items like fried chicken, fried whiting fish, bbq ribs, fish & grits, short ribs, and desserts like banana pudding.
