One of Western New York’s favorite summer beers is coming as it moves across new markets this year.

Genesee’s limited-edition Ruby Red Kolsch was first released in 2018 and quickly sold out, which prompted multiple additional releases later last summer. The beer will debut in New Jersey this year — in the coming weeks customers will be able to find it at Wegmans throughout New Jersey including Montvale — plus they’ve more than doubled the output for 2019.

According to press info, Ruby Red Kolsch is a refreshing, bright-golden ale boasting tart grapefruit flavors. With a bready malt body and mild hop bitterness, this mouthwatering ale is crisp and delicious. A traditionally trained brewer himself, Genesee Brew House Brewmaster Dean Jones created this summer brew for its German heritage and fun taste profile.
