Spasso, the Italian restaurant in Cresskill’s Rio Vista Plaza, has apparently shut down. With a notice on the door and what appears to be the removal of furnishings, the restaurant had occupied the space for at least 4 years. The location had long been Italian spot Ciao Bella (with a few short term spots in between), which Spasso took use of the already existing brick oven. We can even trace the space back to its original tenants, day spa Beau Visage in the front space and Collegemania in the back, when it was broken into two storefronts.
