Corrado’s Market is Likely Expanding to Old Tappan

Corrado’s Market, a New Jersey chain of supermarkets, is likely coming soon to Old Tappan. This would be their second location in Bergen County.

Recently the company has been looking to hiring team members for the cheese department, deli and more — their markets typically offer a full selection of fresh produce, grocery, dairy, and frozen items.

Family-owned and operated since 1950, their six existing locations are in Clifton, Brick, Denville, Fairfield, North Arlington, Hawthorne and Wayne.

The brand also runs liquor stores and pet stores, most located on the same property as their sister supermarkets.

Though no address was specified — this news has not been officially confirmed — the logical landing spot would be Bi-State Plaza, replacing the now shuttered Food Town. Rumors of an Uncle Giuseppe’s market taking the same spot persisted for most of last year.
