eightytwenty smash (Website), the traveling burger pop-up from local chef Matthew Borgersen, will host its first event this Sunday, March 21st at Caffe Anello in Westwood (11 Madison Avenue) – more dates are expected to be announced soon.

Borgersen, who is on hiatus as Executive Chef of upscale Italian restaurant Caffe Anello, is excited to try something different, as the pandemic made fine dining very limited since early last year.

The menu will include single and double-sized sliders, fries and more. The sliders at eightytwenty smash will be crafted using a custom 80/20 Prime beef blend, yellow American cheese, house special sauce and served on a Martin’s potato roll.
