Bolero Snort Brewery in Carlstadt Wins Craft Beer Award

The first ever Craft Beer Marketing Awards, aka the “Crushie” awards, were presented via “live” virtual ceremony last month.

The CBMAs is the first awards program of its kind in the USA. It officially launched and began accepting entries in the fall of 2019. It has received entries from nearly every state in the country, in addition to submissions from Mexico and Canada.

“We’re honored to have received so much interest in our first year with entries from both big and small breweries all across North America,” said CBMA co-founder Jackie DiBella. “There is a clear need for these awards to recognize the critical and increasing contribution that marketing efforts play in the competitive craft beer industry. We were so impressed with what was submitted and look forward to seeing even more amazing work next year.”

Winners of the CBMAs were announced in a range of 32 categories that were evaluated by a panel of over 100 industry-recognized judges. The judges placed these entrants into top positions that were then voted on by the public via social media. A total of 130 awards were presented to brewers, designers, and agencies from all across North America.

Bergen County’s very own Bolero Snort Brewert received a gold Crushie in the Beer Marketing Wild Cards / Best Brewery Rebrand category for their “Bovine Inspired Rebrand”. The brewery also opened their own facility and tap room earlier this year in Carlstadt (Read Story).
