Originally slated for June, Kimchi Smoke KTX was expected as an inaugural tenant for the upcoming Little Ferry H-Mart. That change in June when owner/pitmaster Robert Cho announced he would not be opening this highly anticipated eatery. However he has now revealed that Kimchi Smoke will indeed be opening at H-Mart, instead at their Paramus location on Route 17.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with H-Mart as the popularity of Korean food, culture and Korean BBQ continues to grow” said Cho, “Their nationwide presence gives Kimchi Smoke access to reach our fans and social media followers far and near.”

Kimchi Smoke KTX will be a quick service version of Kimchi Smoke, focused on a menu of rice bowls, tacos, and some non-permanent Kimchi Smoke items like Ramen Fried Pickles and Korean Street Corn Dogs. For those concerned about that low and slow bbq, Cho promises plenty of his brisket — which recently won the People’s Choice Award (and second place overall) at Brisket King NYC (See Results).

Cho hopes be up and running by mid July. Hours of operation will be Wednesday to Sunday from 11:30am till 8:30pm.
