The Alementary Collabs with Kimchi Smoke for Seoul Brothers Beer

Robert Austin Cho from Kimchi Smoke (Visit Website) and Blake Crawford from Alementary Brewing Company (Visit Website) have collaborated on a new beer called Seoul Brothers. Cho has hosted popups at Alementary, serving his nationally acclaimed barbecue, since the brewery’s opening in 2016.

The combination of Southern Korean BBQ and craft beer was a natural pairing according to Cho and now, we have a beer that is what Kimchi Smoke is all about – not fusion, but 100% Korean and 100% American. The final product is reminiscent of makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice wine, while maintaining all the properties of being a beer. They are calling the brew’s style a Blonde Rice Ale, it’s ABV is 7.5%.

On Friday, April 12th at 5pm, Seoul Brothers will be released in 12oz cans at Alementary. Cho will be on hand doing serving brisket and tacos. Gun bae!
