Callahan’s Food Truck Season Begins This Weekend

The Callahan’s food truck will once again hit the streets popping up around the tri-state area.

Beginning this Saturday, April 13th from 2pm-9pm, Truck #2 will open the season with their first ever visit to Hackensack Brewing Company (Visit Website) — the collab is over a year in the making and will include a menu of exclusive homemade toppings all crafted using beer from the brewery: Braised Stout Kraut, I.P.A.S.Q. (Signature Queso), Brew Stew (Chili in Beer), Cider Sweet Onions, and Lava Lager Onions (Spicy Onions in Beer). They’ve also whipped up Hacken-MAC, a homemade mac n’ cheese made with their beer, that’s topped with toasted honey-wheat pretzel breadcrumbs.

According to third generation owner Daniel DeMiglio, they’ll also be back for a sixth season at Van Saun Park in Paramus. Expect an announcement soon, as the truck will be parked directly outside the zoo entrance towards the end of April.
