On Thursday, July 12th, celebrity chef and Paramus native, Bruce Kalman will host ‘Chefs 4 Paramus Strong” at The Terrace at Biagio’s Ristorante to benefit the families of the East Brook Middle School bus accident that took place on May 17th. The evening will be a strolling food event curated by Chef Kalman who will be joined by some of his closest chef friends in the culinary world, including season 15 “Top Chef” castmates Tyler Anderson of Millwright’s and Porrone and Pina and Chris Scott of Butterfunk Kitchen; Jimmy Perides of Biagio’s; Ilan Hall of Ramen Hood; Adam Gertler of Dog Haus and more (entire list of participating chefs/restaurants below).

Following the accident, Kalman started conversations with fellow friends from Paramus, Top Chef and other cooking and food programs he worked closely with to do something to help the victims and families of the accident that claimed a life of a teacher and child, and left many students hurt and some in critical condition.

“Growing up in Paramus and attending East Brook Middle School, this is very close to my heart,” shared Kalman. “As a new parent, I can’t even fathom what these families are going trough. They need our support and we are here for them. I’ve brought together an amazing group of chefs to create Chefs for Paramus Strong, each will be dishing out some delicious bites for a great cause.”

Tickets will cost $75 for general admission and $125 for VIP admission, which will include a VIP Happy Hour with the chefs as well as an invitation to the Chef’s after party. Funds raised at this event will go to the Paramus Children’s Health Foundation (Visit Website), an organization that has already provided much needed assistance to the children and families of this tragedy.
