Lolita’s Mexican Cantina, a Mexican restaurant and bar, has opened in Westwood. It’s not a full-on opening, they are only serving dinner and are closed on Sundays. Expect lunch, brunch and delivery to begin after the summer.

Crafted from the team that runs Sabor Latin Bistro in North Bergen, they are serving (View Menu) “authentic” Mexican cuisine, plus some eats with “modern” twists”. Many of the traditional standbys (like tacos, quesadillas, etc) are available, along with dishes native to Oaxaca – like their classically trained chef, who’s spent some time working at Charrito’s (Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken).

The bar offers Mexican cocktails and offer some “unique” Mexican tapas plus happy hour. Service begins daily at 5:00pm.
