Bareburger has announced that its doors are now open at it’s latest location in Ridgewood. This marks the chain’s fifth location in the Garden State, including those locally in Edgewater and Closter — it’s been named best burger chain in New Jersey (View Article)

The chain’s menu (View Menu) features free-range, antibiotic-free burgers, sustainable salads and crop bowls, sandwiches, and sundaes & shakes. Meats include beef, bison, elk, wild boar, duck, turkey, chicken — with sweet potato, black bean and quinoa rounding out the veggie options — with their Guadalupe burger being named Best Veggie Burger in New York (View Article).

There are four bun choices — brioche, sprout bun, tapioca rice bun or wrapped in collard green. Ingredients in Ridgewood will come from the same local farmers, ranchers, and artisan partners that Bareburger is known for. The location also offers a selection of alcohol, including a number of beers on tap.

Modeled after the restaurants before it, the interior structures, furnishings, and finishes are all made using local, reclaimed, salvaged, and recycled materials. The environment is also important when it comes to paper products, plastic goods, and cleaning supplies, which are all sustainable and biodegradable.
