Mambo Empanadas, a new offshoot from Mambo Tea House, has opened on the West End of Rutherford. The 29 seat dining space has been situated in a Latin themed setting.

The Latin American restaurant specializes in empanadas (fried and baked), Latin rotisserie chicken, and other Latin dishes from the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Peru – like Sancocho and Los Tres Golpes from DR, Cuban Panini from Cuba and Ceviche and “Chifa” from Peru. (View Dinner Menu)

Some of the empanada flavors are: ground beef, shredded chicken, spinach & cheese, mushroom & cheese, garlic shrimp, four cheese, man-n-cheese, pizza, cheeseburger, broccoli & cheese, corn & cheese, nutella & banana, cheesecake, guava &cheese.

Like (almost) all restaurants in Rutherford, they are a BYOB. They will be offering sangria mixers to convert your favorite bottle.

Mambo Emapandas is open  Monday-Thursday from 11am-9pm, Friday-Saturday from 11am-10pm and closed on Sundays.
