After nine months in Bergenfield and then moving operations to Westwood the last five months or so, pitmaster/owner Robert Cho is headed into the next phase of his Kimchi Smoke brand.

Cho is adding a second location in Montclair, where he’ll be joined by Timothy Culvert, former Executive Chef at the old Park and Orchard. Kimchi Smoke has already made a flavorful impression in the area, with long lines at the Montclair Food and Wine Festival.

It wouldn’t be a Kimchi Smoke opening with various soft openings and popups – which are planned for sometime in April.
