The second NJ location of Shake Shack has opened and is a mere 2.5 miles from its other Paramus location ― at least according to Google Maps (View Map). Expect more of the same Shack Burgers, fries (expect their former old school crinkle cuts to make an appearance) and their custard concretes.

Like most locations, the Garden State Plaza Shack will offer a selection of location-specific frozen custard concretes including: Garden State (vanilla frozen custard blended with strawberry purée, cheesecake blondie, and cinnamon sugar), and One Stop Choc (chocolate frozen custard blended with marshmallow sauce, chocolate sprinkles, and chocolate-walnut sable cookie from Englewood-based Balthazar Bakery).

The Garden State Plaza location is the first Shack to be designed by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture, which features design touches like sculptural lighting by Austin-based Warbach, and sustainable planters from Philadelphia’s SHIFT_DESIGN. The planters will surround an expansive 48-seat outdoor patio space — a nod to Shake Shack’s origins in a New York City park.

Shake Shack at Garden State Plaza will be open 7 days a week with direct access from the parking lot for Sunday dining.
