“The Souk” Indoor Market in Piermont
“The SOUK” is an indoor epicurean and farm market, returning to Piermont, NY for it’s fourth season. The market is held Sundays from January 8th through April 9th from 11:00am to 3:00pm, with a line-up of new vendors, a pop-up coffee bar and seating room being dubbed “The Kasbah” lounge.
This year they’ve introduced new farms, chefs and artisan food entrepreneurs to “The SOUK”, many of whom have never been to Rockland before – in fact more than half are new this season. These include the Itsa Pizza Truck (handmade signature sourdough crust pizza with market day toppings), Wave Hill Breads (artisan crafted from organic whole grains milled at their micro-bakery), FarmEats (pasture-raised chicken/pork & grass-fed beef), Deep Roots Farm (all natural farm made pickles, micro-greens & sauces) and Mindful Kitchens (vegan charcuterie, burgers & pâté).
There is also a full weekly menu of organic, gluten-free savory & sweet foods, prepared Greek, Italian and Middle-Eastern cuisines, from-scratch Asian dumplings, Japanese inspired locally made dressings, artfully-crafted avocado inspired eats, Northern Italian influenced jams, a wide variety of fresh baked desserts, confections and much more.
