Mangia, the BYO Italian restaurant in Edgewater, has closed after a 13 year run. This is after closing temporarily on March 30th due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a social media post (View Instagram) announcing the news to “friends & loyal customers”, they shared appreciation and thanks that “it has been a pleasure” and they were “grateful” for all the “loyalty and support”.

They did mention their “new journey”, Texas BBQ restaurant The Pit, which opened last fall in Edgewater (View Story).

The last night for Mangia was Friday, July 17th.
