With the upcoming National Falafel Day on June 12th, Yelp has shared their list of Top 25 Falafel Restaurants in the US (Read Full List).

At this point we’d be surprised if people didn’t know what a falafel was — chickpeas mashed with herbs and spices then fried (though sometimes baked). Throw it in a pita with sauce and salad and that’s a pretty great sandwich… most of the time it’s even vegan.

Coming in at #13 is Falafel Brothers in Brick – the only New Jersey eatery to make the list — which apparently is actually run by (four) brothers. The restaurant is fairly new, opening back in 2018 (Read Story), according to their website, they use mom’s recipes and source locally.

They are currently open for takeout and delivery according to Yelp.
