Restaurant Depot, the restaurant warehouse chain, is allowing the general public access according to a report from NJBIZ. The business is typically only for those who own or manage a restaurant, coffee shop, bar, pizzeria, night club, caterer, deli, food-service distributor and/or non-profit organization.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, they are temporarily issuing day passes at many locations around the country – there are six in New Jersey — including locally in Hackensack.

Offered for sale are a “broad selection of products” including meats, seafood, dairy, dry groceries, produce, and more — they also sell restaurant equipment and supplies.

According to their website, it’s open seven days a week, though it’s probably a good idea to check in advance as the schedule may change.
