Hook & Reel, the seafood restaurant chain, is coming soon to Englewood. They specialize in cajun seafood and the “vibrantly, flavorful and spicy cuisine of Louisiana”.

Their menu (View Menu) centers around a cajun boil, where customers can choose a seafood (clams, lobster, mussels, shrimp, etc), sauce (cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, etc), spiciness, and any extras like corn, potatoes, sausage and fries.

There’s also fried fish baskets, po’ boys, soups, salads, and more. No word yet on an opening date or other specifics regarding this location.

The rapidly expanding chain has a numbered open and planned for New Jersey — including an Elmwood Park location that opened over a month ago. They are taking over in Palisades Court in the storefront that formerly housed BurgerIM and Schlotskys.
