New Jersey Craft Breweries Are Offering Home Delivery

Yesterday during Governor Murphy’s press conference, he mentioned that “the Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control is issuing guidance to allow microbreweries or brew pubs to provide home delivery to their customers” (Read Transcript) (Read ABC Special Ruling).

The rules have been relaxed on restaurants, allowing alcohol delivery when the first emergency orders came down forcing them to close for takeout and delivery only – many breweries began offering delivery as well, however this was stopped by the Division of Alcohol Beverage Control, citing the “Special Ruling Authorizing Certain Activities by Holders of Limited Brewery Licenses”, which passed in May 2019.

Without missing a beat, Carlstadt craft brewery Bolero Snort (Website), Brix City Brewing in Little Ferry (Instagram), Magnify Brewing in Fairfield (Website), and Ghost Hawk Brewing Co in Clifton (Website), have already shared (or re-shared) their details regarding home delivery, providing specifics on how to order, delivery fee, minimums, delivery range, and more on their websites and social media.
