Good Grief! Charlie Brown’s in Old Tappan Closes
Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill has sent an email to customers confirming they have ceased operations in Old Tappan after 39 years. The chain is known for their steaks and salad bar — the Tenafly branch closed a few years ago as well.
Employees have been transferred or given the option to transfer to one of their 12 other locations, including the two remaining in Bergen County: Oradell and Washington Township.
The email goes on to say it was not an easy decision and that there are no plans to close any other restaurants.
