Since we’re now in full on ice cream season, Thrillist has compiled their choices of the The 33 Best Ice Cream Shops in America (View Full List).

Claiming that we might be in a “golden age” when it comes to innovation in the ice cream world, meaning we are all benefits of the willingness of these places challenging the “very notion of what ice cream is”.

One ice cream shop in Jersey made the cut, The Bent Spoon in Princeton – which has 550 flavors that rotate in and out 24 at a time. There is a seasonality of many flavors, plus experiments that are very unique using those local flavors like Sun Gold tomato sorbet or blueberry mascarpone.
