After an extended run on River Road, restaurant and bar Le Jardin has shuttered. It’s replacement is coming based on signage now displayed on the building facade.

De Novo European Pub (View Menu) comes from Montclair restaurateur Demetri Malki (D’Metri’s, Table 8). The “family-oriented casual pub” offers housemade breads and pasta, various small plates, charcuterie, entreest and more. The bar features an extensive wine list, craft beer selection, various mixed drinks and sangria.

No word yet on a time frame and how similar the concept will be to it’s sister location.
