Pelicana Chicken, a expanding Korean chicken chain, has opened another Jersey location in Dumont – the other is in Palisades Park.

They operate numerous in NYC, Virginia and Philly with over 2,000 chain-stores around the world. Pelicana offers a large selection of chicken – using all organic chicken and fried in oil that’s replaced every day (they encourage customers to ask about it).

The chicken (View Menu) comes cooked very crispy in the following varieties: original chicken, crispy and boneless cooked with a variety of flavors like plain, marinated, spicy marinated, garlic, bbq, scallion, snowing cheese and cheese purio – the last two of which won second place for “Best Unique Flavor” in the New York Best Wings Festival and earlier this year Gothamist named it one of the Top Fried Chicken Sandwiches in NYC (Read Full List).
