Liquor License Reform Moves Slightly Forward in Jersey

Seems like there’s a story like this every few months, however there’s a change according to a report of the latest state bill advancement by Jersey Digs (Read Article).

The proposed legislation would create two new license, that would allow restaurants to offer drinks but no traditional bar. Fees would be annual, go to the state and wouldn’t be transferable.

Of course it still needs to get through the state senate and then Governor Murphy before it goes into effect, two things that won’t happen till 2019 at the earliest.
