Petite Soo Chow in Cliffside Park is a Fave Neighborhood Spot

How does one put together a list of America’s Favorite Neighborhood Restaurants? We have no idea. Though the folks over at Bon Appetit did just that with their list (Read Full List).

They asked 80 “interesting” people for their trusted local spots, not looking for cool or hip – places that have featured many repeat journeys. And they run the gamut from bakeries, supermarkets, pizza spots and more.

While there were a few Jersey restaurants mentioned, Cliffside Park’s very own Petite Soo Chow was named by Deuki Hong, the chef at Sunday Bird. She admits the service is awful, but that doesn’t change the taste of the salt & pepper pork chop or soup dumplings (agreed).

The restaurant is open daily and received a DONT MISS review from the New York Times eight years ago (Read Review).
