Pelicana Chicken, the Korean chicken chain, has been named to have one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in the city according to Gothamist (Read Full Article).

Fortunately for those of us who live in Bergen, we don’t have to head into the city to check it out. Pelicana has a location in Palisades Park that opened a few years ago.

“Fried bird” is the obviously a specialty at Pelicana, however the site is high on their sammies, which are “astonishingly rich and juicy”. They recommend the Ugly Chicken Sandwich with fried dark meat and their “lively proprietary sauce”. The one with “spicy ranch” is also on the must try list.
