Porto’s Peri Peri, a Portuguese chicken restaurant chain, is coming soon to Saddle Brook. With locations in Illinois, this appears to be their first in New Jersey.

The menu (View Menu) offers flamed-grilled chicken made to order using their secret Peri Peri bastes. Chicken is vegetarian fed and never frozen then marinated for a minimum of 24 hours. Sauces are made from African birds eye chili mixed with fresh herbs and spices

No word yet on an opening date, however the sign is up at 383 Market Street.
