It’s a team of owners at Ramen Azuma, which also own Soba Azuma (Fort Lee) and East Japanese Restaurant (Teaneck), working together for over 10 years specializing in Japanese cuisine. The new restaurant is their take on ramen and bringing it to the Englewood community.

The menu (View Menu) features Tonkotsu Ramen (pork broth) which will be made from scratch daily in-house, as will the noodles. The is different than many NYC restaurants (Ivan Ramen, Momofuku), who choose to use noodles from Teterboro purveyor Sun Noodle. In addition there are buns, salads dumplings, fried rice, and other dishes.

Broth is cooked 8-12 hours from pork bones and noodles are freshly made daily by their noodle master Yuumi Uesada, who hails from Japan.
