Playa Bowls, a chain of fruit bowls that originated at the Jersey Shore, has opened their first Bergen County location in Ridgewood. This is one of the hottest trends going, as we’ve seen places like Samba (Ridgewood), Beets (Park Ridge, Montvale), Raw Squeeze (New Milford) and more in this growing space.

The menu (View Menu) features a selection of acai, pitaya, chia, banana, green, and coconut bowls. There’s also fresh juice and smoothies plus oatmeal.

The shop is open seven days a week from 8:00am till 8:00pm. A Franklin Lakes location is also planned for the chain.
