Stone & Rail, a new restaurant and bar, has opened in Glen Rock. General Manager and partner Brian Crowe described the new operation as a “gastropub with a craft beer focus at the bar”.

The space has undergone a revamp, paying homage to the train station next door – including plenty of reclaimed wood and exposed brick. The second floor “loft” space looks over the bar and dining rooms plus the bar features lights corresponding to train stations along the Main/Bergen-Port Jervis Line.

The biggest news of course is the return of Chef Adam Weiss, formerly of Esty Street and Due and the two time Ultimate Chef Bergen County winner. The launch menu (View Menu) includes Weiss’s take on small plates, shared plates, sandwiches (between bread), large plates (entrees) and more.

Stone & Rail is currently open six days (closed Mondays) a week for dinner.
