Meson Barcelona, a relatively new (two months) restaurant, has opened in Clifton. The owners combined have 45 years of restaurant experience, along with their chef Gonzalo who is originally from Spain

With a name like Meson Barcelona, it’s quite obvious that it’s a Spanish restaurant. The owners’ vision was for interiors that would make you feel like you are dining seaside in a Spanish villa. They had local artists collaborate with hand painted murals and floral designs in the dining room.

The menu (see below) covers “Authentic Spanish cuisine” with an additional tapas menu, which are all prepared in their open kitchen.  There is an extensive collection of seafood items including several options of paella. Desserts are provided by local bakers and each diner receives a handmade chocolate flower upon their exit.

Meson Barcelona is BYO and seats approximately 65 with outdoor dining available. They are open six days (closed Mondays) for both lunch and dinner.
