That’s a wrap for the return of a local icon.

With the windows papered and chairs up, the Callahan’s location that opened in Fort Lee last year has apparently closed. This scenario seemed likely when co-tenant Kocher’s Market announced they were moving back to their original Ridgefield home last month (Read Article).

This location was owned by Leonard Castrianni and was no way affiliated with the Norwood store or food trucks owned by Daniel DeMiglio, third generation owner and grandson of Callahan’s founder.

So there’s no reason to fret Callahan’s kids, the original hot dogs and a whole lot more are still available in Norwood (Visit Site) and during the food truck season (coming soon) at events across the tri-state.
