Kocher’s Market Returning to Ridgefield

Kocher’s Market, the old world German butcher, is headed back to it’s original home in Ridgefield.

According to a Facebook post (See Post) from Ridgefield town mayor Anthony Suarez, the town’s planning board approved the zoning application for their return. So those who enjoy their fresh-cut meats at their Fort Lee store (opened in 2014) ― including homemade sausages, hot dogs and burgers ― will only have to travel back to the old spot.

For a little more background on Kocher’s, be sure to read Jess Marko’s exclusive article (View Article) about them a few months after they opened almost four years ago. And it’s unclear what this means for neighbor Callahan’s, as their space is supposedly owned by the market according to reports.
