Krispy Kreme Eyeing Edgewater For Potential Locations
Krispy Kreme is planning on opening a brand new Jersey City location tomorrow according to a report from NJ.com (Read Full Article). This is in line with the announcement last year they were expanding up the east coast including Hudson and Bergen counties in NJ.
However according to store co-owner Karl Halligan, six stores for his group are planned with the possibility of outlets in Edgewater or West New York.
While an exciting possibility, those stores will not make the donuts on-premises. The Jersey City store — which has the capacity to make 65,000 doughnuts a day — will supply those stores when/if they open.
