Chef Central, the “culinary superstore”, is closing it’s Paramus location according to a report from northjersey.com.

The 15,000 square foot store opened in 2001 and is home to the annual Ultimate Chef New Jersey competition. Created by Woodcliff Lake resident Ron Eisenberg, who cited that rent and competition from the Internet as reasons for the closing.

According to the article, the store is expected to close sometime around the first of the year.
