The Reef, a “modern waterfront destination” serving seafood and cocktails in “stylish surrounds”, has been open since mid-September in Piermont. Formerly Cafe Portofino, partners Ricardo Cerdeira and Dario Fonseca transformed the space with a total renovation, added a blue hue lighting with metal and natural wood surfaces.

The menu (View Menu) covers a variety of seafood appetizers and main courses with raw bar. There’s a full service offering cocktails, wines and beers — all dessert is made daily on premises

The Reef is open six days (closed Monday) a week for dinner.
