Mexican is Most Popular Food Delivery Choice in New Jersey
With one billion online food orders in 2015, Eater went to popular online food delivery websites GrubHub (Seamless) and DoorDash for their data (from 2015) to see what What America Orders for Delivery and broke it down by state. The methodology used is broken down in the article, most notably that large national chains (Dominos, Pizza Hut) are not part of the data.
New Jersey stood out for being one of two states (the other was Illinois) that ordered Mexican the most. Nationally speaking, chicken was the most ordered food overall while Chinese was the most popular Asian cuisine.
