Saddle River Inn has been named to OpenTable’s 100 Best Restaurants for Foodies in America. Updated for 2016, the list is curated from more than 5 million verified OpenTable restaurant reviews collected from between August 1, 2015, and July 31, 2016.

All restaurants with a minimum “overall” score (which is not given) and minimum number of qualifying reviews (also not given) were included for consideration – then were sorted according to a score calculated from each restaurant’s average rating in the “fit for foodies” category.

Saddle River Inn was taken over with new ownership back in 2013, has been recieved acclaim with an Excellent review in the New York Times as well as being named one of the coziest restaurants in the the state. Other Jersey restaurants to make the list were A Toute Heure in Cranford, Sette in Bernardsville, Restaurant Lorena’s in Maplewood and Toscano Ristorante in Bordentown.
